Brother Cycles just released their latest frameset called “Kepler”. According to their website:
” This is our all new 2014 adventuring frame. Designed to take on whatever challenge is thrown at it, whether that’s thrashing along forest rails, taking it on a weekend bikepacking trip or even a full blown transcontinental tour. Based on cyclocross geometry, the Kepler can run fatter tyres when you need them or slicks when you want to keep up with the roadies. And of course it’s fully equipped to fit front and rear panniers if you’re loading up for a longer trip. The double butted Cr-mo tubing makes for a tough yet lightweight ride, which should keep going for years to come.”

The route is:
2-5th July Prague-Berlin. 150km per day. All together: 450km. Average speed: depends on the wind.”

Whoaa! I can’t believe this. Rapha was here, in Java and visited The Borobudur’s Temple. This is really great.
” Java is an intense place. From the minute you step off the plane onto the tarmac in Yogyakarta you are assaulted by the chaos of the people, voices and heat.
Java is a place formed by human hands, the worlds’s most populous island has small farms all across its landscape. At the same time, the elemental nature of Java is volcanic. The island is dotted with volcanic cones and is one of the most active spots along the ‘Ring of Fire’, a roughly semi-circular line of volcanoes in the Pacific. Central Java has a chain of eight tall conical strato volcanoes running from north to south and one, Merapi, is very active.”
